A relaxed & informal atmosphere, with much ofthe amenities of higher rated establishments.

An excellent location, just a few seconds walk to the beach. The room was very clean and bright, with a nice little area outside to sit and relax. The location is ideal for low-key bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, and a short ride from El Nido centre. The staff at Karmyllas are fantastic, always ready to help with any situation.

Horrible Construction site st the place itself and all around. Tried to cancel after one night there but they didnt let me. Imagine after 7 hours you arrive at a holiday place and see this mess. I uploaded pics on my google review. Even without construction this place would be bad and not worth even half the price they ask Stinky bathroom. Unfriendly staff.

Exceptional

Eric was always so pleasant to deal with! He arranged a private boat tour and departure transfer for us and even went out to buy an energy drink after he discovered I had been sick overnight! The guest house is simple and basic but exactly what we needed in El Nido considering we were out all day. It is literally on the beach where all the island hopping tours depart and where loads of restaurants and bars are (at Bella Vita, one minute from Karmylla, we saw by far the BEST sunset on the whole island!). Absolutely to recommend, thank you very much!

friendly staff, only a few steps to the beach (a lot of bars and restaurants there), cheap and good laundry

an army of mosquitos attacked us every night, later also ants (coming from behind the bed?). If you want to stay here you need very good protection (spray and net!!), or you won‘t sleep just one hour..... no TV, no refrigerator (would be nice to have the chance to enjoy cool drinks at balcony at night) - during our 4 days stay sadly no room service....

The place is really nice and clean, it looks new. It's very close to the Corong Beach so it's convenient to go on a tour from there. The staff was very helpful and amiable. We loved our stay there.

It is a bit far from the centre, you need to take a tricycle to get there. But if you need a quiet place, it's perfect.

Location location location. And the beachbar/restaurant La Plage next door. The best on the entire beach (order the tuna steak - medium rare...)

The family running the place are lovely, so kind and really...

The family running the place are lovely, so kind and really friendly. They helped us when we were ill and had to go to hospital, even stayed until diagnosed, and visited the next day. Really lovely people. Pro tip, ask them about the restaurant you plan to eat at before you actually go there! Do not go to Cuna Hotel to eat. The place is really nice, just a trike to town and to Las Cabanas beach. Lio beach is easily reached by car. We had a car and could park safely there. They can arrange boat trips and other stuff too. If I come back would stay here again. It is fairly basic but very comfortable, has all essentials. Miss Lin really made us all feel at home. Thank you Karmylla's place :)

The stuff was amazing.

The stuff was amazing. We had to go to the hospital one evening, and they called the ambulance, accompanied us there, brought us some food and were very-very nice and helpful. The location is good, right next to the sea and a nice restaurant. The room was clean, no ants or insects.

The bed was a bit small for two people, and the wifi was weak like almost everywhere on the Philippines.

Nice, pleasant stay in this friendly guesthouse

The hosts were super friendly. We had a room in the new building and it was big enough and super clean. The quality of the wi-fi was pretty good for El Nido standards. The location was good, very close to the beach bars (La Plage etc.) on Corong Corong beach, and some 20-25m walk or a short trike ride from El Nido town proper. Breakfast was basic and consisted of: toast, egg, butter, marmelade and fruit. Would definitely recommend this property for basic but clean accomodation.

Everything was just fine.

Location by the sea was convenient and kind staff

Probably very different standards. Maybe it is standard on Phillippines,but the highligt was only hot water and AC,even that was terribly loud one. The bathroom was wet,moist and smelly all the time,with small window,no mirror at all and the towels you get are 100% polyester,not ment to be used as towels at all. The bed is just a logs hammered together,small and short,makeing terrible noises at each move. Also almost no space to unpack,just one shelf and four racks. Breakfast was..well greasy eggs or pancakes made of box. Dust and stray dogs everywhere (but i understant they can't prevent it), but instead of improving the rooms they already have,they started to make another room on the terrace. But otherwise the staff was very kind and friendly.

The room we booked was a little on the pricier side, but...

The room we booked was a little on the pricier side, but comfortable and very clean. The best part of this accommodation is the family that runs the business. It was my boyfriend's birthday the second day of our stay, and they arranged a cake, played the guitar for him, we all celebrated together. And that was only one of the good things. Truly grateful to this family, thank you one more time and see you soon!

- very well located to take boat trips departing from Corong Corong - clean room and friendly personnel - close to very good restaurants

Convenient hotel

The hotel is very well situated, behind a French bar on the beach, so you just have to walk a few seconds to be on the beach where you can find bars and restaurants. The room was very convenient, just what you need to sleep and hot shower. As we were on island hopping every day, we did not need much. Room and bathroom are both clean. Walk 2/3 minutes and you will be on the main road where you can book boats, dive etc. To go to the center, it's 7/8 mins by tuktuk. Little advice for those who want a private boat-tour: walk on the beach until the pier, there you will find boatmen who can take you for a day private tour.

Even if room and bathroom are very clean with AC, it's very humid inside.
